Short version: we collect as little personal data as we can get away with, we keep it in the EU, and we never sell it. The longer version is below.
Who we are
WorkInProduct.eu is an independent European job board for product management roles. If you want to contact us about your data, email hello@workinproduct.eu.
What we collect
- Nothing, by default. Browsing the site requires no account and no personal data.
- Your email address — only if you sign up for job alerts. We use it to send the alerts you asked for and nothing else.
- Anonymous usage stats — page views, referrers, and rough geolocation (country level). We use Plausible Analytics, which is cookieless and does not track individuals across sites.
What we don’t collect
- No tracking cookies.
- No third-party advertising pixels.
- No passwords (we don’t have accounts yet).
- No recruiter personal data from scraped listings — we keep company-level contact info only.
Where your data lives
Everything is hosted with European providers: our database is a managed Postgres in Frankfurt, email alerts are sent via Resend, and static assets are served from a CDN edge in Falkenstein, Germany. Personal data never leaves the EU.
How long we keep it
We keep your email for as long as your alert subscription is active. Unsubscribe any time using the one-click link in every email, and your record is deleted within 30 days. You can also email us to request immediate deletion.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, correct, export or delete any personal data we hold about you, and to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. Email us at hello@workinproduct.euand we’ll respond within 30 days.
Changes to this statement
We’ll update this page when we add new features that touch personal data (for example, when we launch accounts). The date at the top always reflects the latest version.
