Director, Product

The role

• Own the long-term vision and roadmap for Mambu's Lending domain (Fixed-Term, Revolving Credit, Mortgages, Credit Cards) across global markets, balancing compliance, competitiveness, and technical debt.
• Lead architectural transformation toward API-first microservices, ensuring the lending engine handles millions of real-time queries and complex interest calculations without compromise.
• Recruit, mentor, and develop a world-class team of Product Managers; champion data-driven decision-making and operational rigor across the Product Development Lifecycle.
• Partner with Sales, Marketing, and C-suite on commercialisation strategy, pricing, and resource allocation for high-margin customer solutions.

• 5+ years leading Product Managers with a proven track record of building and scaling high-performance teams.
• Deep lending expertise: retail and commercial lending products gained through direct banking roles or fintech vendor experience.
• Demonstrated success managing new product launches, large-scale technical migrations, and process improvements.
• Data-first mindset: ability to measure platform stability, synthesise complex information into business cases, and influence cross-functional global teams at all levels.
