Technical Product Manager - Capital Markets

The role

• You own the technical product roadmap for Millennium Exchange components: central order book, matching engine, market data dissemination, and gateways serving global trading firms and market makers.
• You translate market structure changes (tick sizes, auction mechanics, order types) into detailed technical requirements, working alongside market operations, regulatory affairs, and engineering teams.
• You define non-functional standards for deterministic latency, throughput, high availability, and disaster recovery, then partner with platform engineers through design reviews, incremental releases, and full market rehearsals.
• You own market data transparency (Level 1/Level 2 feeds), observability (latency distribution, order lifecycle tracing), and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements across all platform changes.

What they are looking for

• Deep experience as a Technical Product Manager, Product Owner, or Senior Engineer in exchanges, market infrastructure, or ultra-low-latency trading platforms.
• Strong understanding of central limit order books, matching engine behaviour, price/time priority models, and experience working closely with platform engineers and architects.
• Proven ability to own complex, highly regulated technical systems and make informed trade-offs between performance, market fairness, and operational risk.
• Desirable: direct Millennium Exchange experience, knowledge of FIX and native exchange protocols, multicast market data distribution, deterministic system design, or asset-class experience in equities, ETFs, fixed income, or derivatives.
