The role

  • Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models across SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, Microsoft Fabric, and data lakes—serving as the foundation for enterprise data products.
  • Define product strategy, requirements, and roadmap for data assets; conduct market research to identify innovation opportunities.
  • Act as bridge between business, engineering, analytics, and governance teams—ensuring data products are compliant, high-performing, and aligned with organizational objectives in a highly regulated pharma environment.
  • Manage data product catalogs, data contracts (SLAs), and governance frameworks; oversee metadata standards and data lineage.

What they are looking for

  • 5+ years data modeling and database design experience across SAP BW, SAP Datasphere, Microsoft Fabric; bonus if you have data engineering background.
  • Deep knowledge of data modeling methodologies (relational, dimensional, analytical) and hands-on proficiency with ERwin or ER/Studio.
  • Strong SQL skills, fluency with Python or R; experience with SAP Analytics Cloud and MS Power BI.
  • Track record managing or contributing to data product development—writing user stories, gathering requirements, managing backlogs.
  • Cross-functional collaboration skills; ability to communicate complex concepts to technical and non-technical audiences in a regulated environment.
