The role
- Temporarily own the Mobile squad (iOS/Android) serving tens of thousands of daily users—50–60% cross-squad coordination, 40–50% mobile-specific strategy.
- Manage and develop 4 Product Managers directly, owning their 1:1s, career development, performance, and hiring including a new Senior PM for core squad.
- Become the primary sparring partner for product decisions across the organization, co-owning strategic choices and deepening domain expertise over time.
- Audit and improve PM processes: prioritization, discovery, spec-writing, outcome measurement—moving from founder-driven intuition to scalable PM operating model.
- Champion AI-native product development across the PM team, from AI-assisted discovery and prototyping to reshaping PM workflows.
What they are looking for
- 7+ years B2B SaaS product management experience, with 3+ years in mid-market or enterprise environments.
- 2+ years directly managing Product Managers (hiring, developing, having hard conversations).
- Strong technical acumen: understand architecture, APIs, and platform trade-offs to spar with engineers at eye level.
- AI-native in your own work—demonstrate real examples of using AI in discovery, analysis, prototyping, or spec writing.
- Mobile product development experience (iOS/Android) is a strong plus given squad ownership.
- Based in Berlin or Munich; fluent in English; German is a strong plus but not required.
